What is the Organic Cleaning?
The Organic cleaning is the true 100% natural cleaning. It is based on fruits and plants such as lemon, vinegar (apple or grapes), and saponins (the soap produced by the own Nature through a wide variety of plants and fruits)
The word organic defines it: fruits and plants.
The organic cleaning products that are shared here, in Thanks to the Water, are based on saponins as the main ingredient. All cleaning products are made based on a mixture between very hot water and a plant with a high level of saponins. This preparation, as simple as making a puree, has been shown to be miraculous when it comes to achieving excellent cleaning, extraordinary economic savings and 0 pollution regarding water and soil, as all products are compostable (as long as they are not mixed with toxic cleaning products, neither supposed natural soaps based on saponified sosa)
How did I manage to develop these organic household cleaning products?
One day I was cleaning a rural house. That house was sited in the middle of a path, with river. After finishing the cleaning, throwing away the dirty water somewhere was needed, but I was so caring with the Earth and the Water that I couldn't find any suitable place at all. The dirty water was polluted with chemicals, so dumping it on the ground was not an option. Suddenly, looking at the river with the bucket of dirty water in my hands, I went into shock. I had what in coaching is known as a ¨highlight¨, (a very strong light of counciousness). This fact made me deeply comprehend the massive unnecessary pollution that every day humans do just in the cleaning of our homes, specially regarding to the water. Automatically I began to research household cleaning formulas zero pollutant with the Water and the Earth, and that is how I found the Organic Cleaning, ancestral way of cleaning in places like Nepal.
After a year researching formulas, I managed to find the Eureka into the soap nuts: the saponins! I had it!
Soon after that time, I had to test the products to probe them and improve them, when necessary. I had to gather data (experiencing by my own) about its cleaning efficiency, types of surfaces they were suitable for, my feeling after cleaning, economic savings, etc. That second stage took me around six months.
Finally, the last stage was focused on distributing samples to find out the impression of different people, as well as collecting true and authentic reviews regarding the cleaning from tourists by renting summer rooms. The conclusions here were very rellevant and key for the next steps.
Having integrated all these products into my daily household cleaning habits, the last stage was expanding the sources of saponins, by using other plants, like the aloe saponaria. Plants that I cultivate in my orchard.
My personal goal is to develop my own complete line of household (and body care) organic cleaning products, whose source is 100% free and native of my living area. Thus, I am reducing the pollution to zero as well as my economic dependence on cleaning products and detergents from the supermarket. Currently, my bill for cleaning the house is ridiculous (around 40 euros per year including: clothes, the whole house and washing up). Now, I am in the stage of researching natural shampoos, as they are not as ¨easy¨ as household cleaning products. At the moment, the organic base that I share below with Aloe Saponaria has shown the best results, but it is soon to say I have got the Eureka. (no, I am afraid I will not share the formulas for free in case I get it, but you can experiment by yourself too). My main gratitude to the Mother Water is restricted to the basic formulas of the household organic cleaning products.
Since I had that highlight in that path until this Space of Gratitude in a shape of website, it went through nearly 2 years of intense research, plus one year more doing lot of thinking and meditations with the water. The hardest part was taking the usury out of this equation and letting go the idea of patenting and selling these products, despite many years of financial hardship. Freeing the formulas makes much easier its expansion, fosters people to DIY at home, by also creating and evolving the organic cleaning, and I felt it is the true kind of Gratitude the Mother Water deserves (she has never charged me any penny in years of taking alive water on natural springs... so I do feel, it is fair)
The last thing to remark is that tests carried out made me understand that the only way for people to change for organic cleaning is by DIY (do it yourself), otherwise, the needed mental change would be impossible. Reaching this conclusion was a liberation and it was the final breakthrough that made me firmly decide to freeing the formulas.
Characteristics of The Organic Cleaning. Advantages and disadvantages
Unlike the chemical and toxic cleaning products, we are used to use, the organic cleaning requires a significant mind change in order to integrate it into our habits:
-
The Organic cleaning products do not have the strong smell that chemical products have. Unfortunately, I have firmly concluded during my research that people neuro-associate cleanliness = smell of chemical product. The worst part: most of people who received samples tended to mix the organic products with toxical ones due to the increase of the smell. Otherwise, they had the sensation that it was not cleaned enough
-
The Organic cleaning products have an expiration date, unlike traditional chemical products. The fact of being organic means losing its properties quite fast, like a fresh orange, a lemon or the alive water. After a week and a half the organic cleaning product begins to turn sour, and although it is suitable to clean yet, its effectiveness has diminishes remarkably. The great part is that its fresheness turn them ideal for the alive cleaning (feng shui lovers would love them). Also, they are so fresh that they could even be sold in greengrocers! isn't this wonderful? Being very honest with you: if you would not trust an orange fruit or an apple fruit able to be perfect for weeks, some even months!...why do you trust chemical products of long lasting to clean your home?
-
As they are made with organic ingredients (100% pure natural) through a process as simple as making a puree, ,the dirty water after the cleaning is perfectly valid for composting, as well as the solid waste, that you can re-use several times (of course, only if they are not mixed with toxic chemical products to give it a greater smell)
-
The Organic cleaning shouts to DIY because the smell that comes when making these products is as delicious as key to reset the fake neuro-associations we have massively regarding the cleanliness. The smell and the natural foam seen and touched in the hot water is what transmits to the brain the information that these products effectively clean. They require a mind reset thorugh a very pleasant sensorial experience. This is very important!

The preparation of these cleaning products is very easy, simple and pleasant, unlike soaps based on saponified caustic soda. You don't need neither astronaut suits or similar protection of any kind... just be careful not to burn yourself with the hot water, which is necessary to activate the saponins. Unlike caustic soda, saponins are good for your skin (that's why gloves are not needed nor during the preparation process neither during the cleaning). In addition, the organic products are so friendly that with the same product you can clean a wooden floor and also your own hair. What is more! they are also medicinal, as with the basic formula with soap nuts, revealed below, I used to care my own body, and I confirm to you that the typical herpes on the mouth due to the cold weather dissapears.

The Organic cleaning is as wonderful as creative. It is similar to cooking: you choose the plants, the essential oils in case you would like to add some extra smell, the citrus fruits such (optional). In case you add citrus fruits TOUCH THAT FOAM! and do compare it with the foam of a supposedly natural soap based on saponified soda diluted in hot water...
There are many advantages that the organic cleaning has compared to the traditional cleaning with chemical products: FOR ME, everything is much cleaner, I find it much more gratifying, the inhalation of the product is delicious, I save tons financially speaking, and the very best, apart from avoiding polluting the Water and the Earth, I can grow my own soap in the garden, for free!
The 3 great obstacles for these organic cleaning products that I have observed in my experiments are:
-
1) the fact that it doesn't smell so intensely as a chemical cleaning product: people have neuro- associated in their brains that cleanliness = chemical smell, even if it is toxic and harmful for the human body, like the bleach. People tend also to associate that stronger smell means better disinfection.
-
2) the fact that it has an expiration date, understood as such, the loss of cleaning efficacy, because it is made from fruits and plants. A chemical cleaning product can last up to years without problems, but it is highly pollutant and much more expensive.
-
3) the fact that you have to make the products by yourself, instead of going to the supermarket. People tend to prefer everything done, paying for it, despite the fact that the elaboration process is as simple as making a puree.
Overcoming such disadvantages, means environmental awareness, economic savings and more DIY, as a mental reset is indeed necessary, due to the textures and smell of the chemical products (quite dense, gel-like consistencies and tons of artificial foam). The cleaning with organic products tend to have a very liquid consistency, barely generates foam, its smell is very subtle and it has a short expiring date.
How are these organic household cleaning products are made?
The formula is always the same, no matter the plant or fruit with high levels of saponins: very hot water + plant or fruit with a high concentration of saponins+ some essential oil (optional) or some citrus (only for certain recipes)
